Watauga Medics, Inc. is the primary provider of Prehospital Emergency Care in Watauga County. We employ licensed emergency medical service professionals of all levels, EMT through Paramedic.
Watauga Medics brings lifesaving care to county residents and visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days each year.
We provide Emergency Ambulance Service and routine emergency care, as requested. We respond to all 9-1-1 calls with an ALS ambulance and a team of two highly-trained individuals, including at least one Paramedic.
Our primary ambulance base and headquarters is located at 921 West King St. in Boone, NC. Base Two is located at 231 Deerfield Rd. in Boone.
